Statement of Faith

We believe the following as the core of that faith in which we find unity as a diverse Christian community:

  • God is creator of the world and of all humankind.
  • Each person is responsible to God for the stewardship of the world and of human life.
  • All people have separated themselves from God through sin and this separation can only be healed through the reconciling work of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • The possibility of pleasing God depends upon each person’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior, and upon receiving and being obedient to the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit of God.
  • The full revelation of God’s will to humanity is found in the sixty-six books of the Bible.

Message from Head of School

Welcome to THE LORD’S FOUNDATION ACADEMY

We are a private, Pre- School. Kindergarten, Lower Primary, Upper primary to JHS DEPARTMENTS serving the local Ghanaian and expatriate communities in Ghana. This brings a wonderful international experience and perspective to our school. Under the leadership of the Head of School, the school is divided into four sections: the Early Childhood, the Lower School, upper primary and the JHS Divisions. Our school is based on a firm foundation of Christian values, and each student is encouraged to demonstrate empathy, ethical behavior, integrity, discipline, and service in all that they do. We offer a strong academic program that incorporates creative problem-solving, cooperation and group interaction, an appreciation of culture and beauty, as well as healthy emotional and physical growth. All of these facets are designed to help our students become well-rounded and better prepared for the rigors of college/university. Excellent teachers are at the heart of an outstanding school. The teachers at AIS come from a variety of Ghanaian, American and British public and private schools and from other countries as well as from comparable international schools in Ghana. They are committed to fulfilling our school’s mission, and to ensuring that their students are successful. They are talented teachers, writers, scientists, mentors, artists, musicians, athletes, coaches, and friends. Our school has already formed partnerships with independent schools in the United States and the United Kingdom and hopes to establish other alliances with other schools in other countries. We encourage online collaborative learning opportunities with students from these schools. We have also formed close ties with various Embassies and international and local organizations in Ghana. is governed by a Board of Directors. We encourage our parents to get actively involved in the school through the various parent forums and activities that are held throughout the year. I look forward to the prospect of your family joining the broader LFA family. Sincerely,

Christian Life

THE LORD’S FOUNDATION ACADEMY is founded on a firm foundation of Christian values and beliefs. However, we do respect other religions and beliefs. THE LORD’S FOUNDATION ACADEMY.encourages all student and staff members to recognize and be tolerant of each other’s views, and religious beliefs and practices. We do not require students to be Christian in order to attend THE LORD’S. We are an academically rigorous school that teaches critical thinking, respect for other cultures, and ideals, and service to others. However, being a Christ-centered school, it is understood that all students and faculty will honor daily devotions, services, and Christian holidays.

Non-Denominational Christian Organization
THE LORD’S FOUNDATION ACADEMY. does not hold affiliation with nor receive funding from any Christian denomination. It is the goal of THE LORD’S FOUNDATION ACADEMY. to find common ground with all facets of Christianity, focusing on upholding what we feel to be the core tenets of the Bible. These can be found in our Statement of Faith, and it is our hope that these create a spirit of unity, service, and transparency among our student body, faculty, and the institution.
